Interpreting Internship

In this section you will upload your resume, introduction video, and three (3) professional references.

• The resume should highlight the courses you have taken, any observation or interpreting experience you may have, and any workshops you have attended

• The introduction video must be done in ASL. This is your opportunity to introduce yourself to our team and tell us more about why you would like to do an interpreting internship with Knoxville Center of the Deaf

• The professional references should include people who have seen your interpreting abilities. The references should be in a letter format and emailed to mjordon@kcdtn.org and bwood@kcdtn.org

This next section will include interpreting samples. These samples should be "cold" recordings, meaning you should not review the video beforehand. Most of the work as interpreters is done cold and as such, we would like to view the most authentic version of your interpreting. Please record the video in a way that we can still hear the audio from the sample.
