Help us keep East Tennessee connected! KCD is hiring a Full-Time Scheduler to manage our interpreting requests and support our growing impact in the Deaf community

Position Overview

  • Pay: $13.75-$15.00 / hour

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Setting: In-Office

  • Status: Non-Exempt

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Communication: Conversational fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is strongly preferred.

  • Organization: A "logistics brain" with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using scheduling software and basic office tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and fulfill interpreting requests from community partners and individuals.

  • Coordinate with our roster of interpreters to confirm assignments and logistics.

  • Foster positive relationships with both our service providers and the clients we serve.
