Mary Pittman

Receptionist/Secretary Staff Interpreter

Mary Pittman wears several hats at KCD. She is the Receptionist/ Secretary and Staff Interpreter. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BA in Psychology. She worked in the deaf ministry in Texas. She worked at the Texas School for the Deaf for several years, and was the official school interpreter. She also worked at Tennessee School for the Deaf, as Dean of Students, and at Vocational Rehabilitation as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor serving deaf, blind, and deaf-blind individuals. She has forty-five years of experience working with this population. Mary came to work for KCD October 2002. Her hobbies are reading and collecting antiques.
