University of Tennessee Hospital Project

The UT Hospital-KCD Project is a three year endeavor beginning February 1, 2005 that combines the resources and talents of the two organizations to provide full medical access to deaf persons using on-site interpreters, training and video remote interpreting technology. Our Office is located inside UT hospital IV South near the ER. Please contact KCD for more information.

Youth Leadership Program
Karin Robertson, Coordinator

Date : First and Third Mondays or Tuesdays of every month (depends on schedule with Knoxville area)

Time: 6:30 - 8:30 PM - Sometimes at 5:30-8:30 PM if dinner is provided - check schedule for times.

Where: Multipurpose Room at KCD

Who: Deaf students from TSD and mainstream high schools in Knoxville surrounding counties

What: An opportunity to meet new friends and learn skills to help you make decisions about what to do after high school.

Why: To have fun, and to learn about job seeking and careers for your future
