Gary McCormick

Director, Partnership Development HGTV - Scripps Networks

As the Director of Partnership Development for HGTV, Gary is responsible for promoting the leading home and lifestyle cable network and its on-air talent through partnerships with other companies that will increase ratings and awareness with viewers.

Before moving to HGTV, he served as the Director of Public Relations for DIY Network and Fine Living TV Network, directing the networks' media relations and special events, including the national partnership with Habitat for Humanity.   In other volunteer service, Gary has been elected the Chair-Elect for the 23,000 member Public Relations Society of America and, in 2010, will become the Chair and CEO for the organization. He also sits on the board of directors for two university organizations - University of Florida's Public Relations Advisory Council and University of Alabama's Plank Center for Leadership.   

Gary has served on the KCD Board for five years and chaired the most recent Executive Search Committee (2002).
